Tongångarne is a student orchestra big band with woodwinds and vocals. Whether you’re a seasoned musician, haven’t really touched your instrument since highschool (but kinda miss it), or are looking for a place to practice a secondary instrument, this is the place to be! We’re made up of majority GU students and alumni, with a mix of international and Swedish students, but there is no requirement to be a current student, and we rehearse primarily in English! 

We rehearse Mondays at 18.00, at Studenternas Hus (Götabergsgatan 17), so drop in and say hello, and feel free to bring an instrument!

Don’t currently have your own instrument? Reach out to us anyway and we might be able to help! We have a limited number of instruments available for loan, or we can direct you to somewhere you may be able to rent.
